Once of my favorite all time plants is E. diversifolia. The only negative thing about it is that the leaves like to turn black for no apparent reason. These might be leaves near the apex of the plant or the ones at the bottom. I've got stems that are finally taking off and looking great but, still manage to get the black spots here and there that then spread to the rest of the leaves as if being spread as an infection.
Does Tom or anyone else have any experience in keeping leaves from turning black? It almost looks like they don't like "touching" other neighboring leaves, but that could just be my imagination. I wonder also, if the plant is sensitive to otocinlus rasping. I've been clipping the affected leaves which seems to make the plants look better, anyway. Just wondering if anyone has any insight into this plant.
