I've read all types of controversial reports on the eheim wet/dry series.

I was wondering if anyone else had personal experience with plumbing the co2 line directly into the breather line on the eheim wet/dry?

If so, by using this type of filter, how bad was the co2 loss in the water? I don't want to have to ramp up my co2 to the point I'm replacing co2 canisters on a regular basis. That will easily add up to the cost of another external filter in no time.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

I suppose I can hijack a thread that is several years old and hasn't had any replies.............????

What are the 2227/2229 wet/dry canisters like for planted tanks?

Better to just buy a regular canister?

    Scott.

    Reach for the sky...

I will be an accomplice in an old dusty thread hijack.

I have heard the series was discontinued. I don't know why.
