    I like the RGB 8000k spectrum.. do you think there is any advantage to having UV in that spectrum like the Marine ones have?

    Not based on the UV bulbs I have on my 120 gallon T5 bulbs.

    Their spectra is the same as the ADA RGB. So it's not some ADA specific research or thing, several makers have the same spectra.


    That cannot be by mere chance. I'll talk with Ecoxotic the next few days. If they do alittle research and changes, they can really make it an easy sell to planted customers.


    Question is..........can they make their $ back on the production run requirements? On cheaper 60p sized tanks with 24" lenght, sure, on higher end larger fixtures?


    Maybe, maybe not, Market research is required to make that business decision.
