    This one will not propagate when submersed. You need seeds if you want more of them. I have successfully kept E. tunicatus, that was grown from seed, alive in my aquarium for many years, but never got a flower stalk or new plantlets at the base. Until I moved the plant around too much and it died, at that moment a few new plants sprouted from the base.

    One more photo of E. tunicatus. Notice the dark spot where the leaf attaches to the stem, this is typical for E. tunicatus.
