I'm doing a iwagumi layout that i want to start emersed, mainly because i will start with not enough plants and don't want to drive almost empty high light tank.
I have mixed a supstrate; gravel, clay and soil in wich i'm gonna plant HC,staurogyne and eleocharis acicularis in a few days.
What should i do once i plant this? I have some HC planted emersed in a small tank that is hardly growing, lots of rotten leaves so i want to avoid this in this setup..
Should i mist, spray the water on the leaves every day during a dsm or just once weekly?
Should i add some ferts in the water that i'm misting with?
    Any advice will be welcome.
