Dosing more micros and/or Fe and pearling

Hi,

I am starting to get some pearling here and there in my tanks after 12 days of co2. I did increase the bubble(4bps from 3bps) a bit this morning and the pearling started a little. I am planning on lowering the temp from 75f to 72f tomorrow. Do you guys think that dosing extra micros and/or Fe will increase pearling ? Is there a relationship between dosing nutrients and pearling ?

No, there's only a relationship between pearling and light. pearling does not necessarily mean your plants are healthy. Nutrient deficiency can suspress pearling, but dosing excess nutrients will not enhance pearling.

Very heavy pearling can even be a tell tale sign that too much light is being used.
