dosing amounts

hello all .
I have a question i just purchased pmdd premix and kh2po4
i dose ei right now using seachem products but am switching to pmdd
i read on this site in the ie writeup these general guidelines
10- 20 Gallon Aquariums
+/- 1/8 tsp KNO3 (N) 3x a week
+/- 1/32 tsp KH2PO4 (P) 3x a week
+/- 1/32 tsp K2SO4 (K) 3x a week
+/- 1/32 tsp (2ml) Trace Elements 3x a week
50% weekly water change

I have a 12 gallon eclipse heavily planted pressurized co2 ah 36w light

i want to dry dose would the above amounts be correct or are the above amounts listed if you dilute it with water or does it matter. New to planted tanks im a long time reefer im use to removing nutrients not adding them . Any help would be appreciated.

I tend to stick with TMG, Flourish is good also, not so much for harder tap waters though. You can also do CMS and then the next day use the brand name.

That seems to works well and cuts the cost in 1/2. I just get a large 5liter jug of TMG for 50$ and that's all I'll need for sometime.

CMS I add 2 table spoons to 500mls of RO/DI water.
I add this as = to TMG, but ...........it's not an accuracy issue, some add 1 table spoon and do okay.

I like more traces and am liberal with dosing.

KNO3:
1/8 teaspoon 3x a week
1/16th KH2PO4 or a tad less, a small speck 3x a week
Traces 3x a week 3mls
GH booster: 1/8 th teaspoon after water change(might not be needed).
That's about it.

You will be removing these nutrients, the plants are doing that.
You also have a much easier/cheaper time doing a water changes(no salt pre mixing)

Seems weird, but many folks doing marine planted tanks are also adding Fe/KNO3/CaNO3 and CO2 or PO4 in some cases etc.

Well, at least now they are. I started bother folks on RC about 2-3 years ago. Quite a few very good success stories and much easier Refugium control and that of other noxious algae.

are these recommendations for dry dosing so i could add 1/32 dir to tank?
