As in trying another plant species and seeing what it might look like in a certain location. Be patient and see where it would look good, better etc, do this one plant or two at a time.
Many often just suffer with what they have and try and force it to work.

I think being more flexible there may help many with different scaping goals.

Good advice indeed.

I have more of a problem of trying too many species. Then I don't want to get rid of any and my tank is cluttered. I just pulled out a bunch of R. Colorata that wasn't fitting in and it was hard not to put it somewhere else. :)

Sell the excess or give it away, do not keep it.
