Does Tonina belem need mycorrhiza to improve growth?

Recently I've read from a German forum that the structure of Tonia belem is quite differently from that of regular aquatic plants, and that Tonia belem needs mycorrhiza for the growth.

Wow, is that true? Should I add something(fungi) in the substruate to help Tonia belem growing?

Perhaps, does well for me and the substrate is old and likely condusive to mycorrhizae.

If they havphoto's and have used a staining process to see and can see the hyphae going int the plant roots, then perhaps.
But the plant will have these fungi already on them and it just takes awhile to grow and they should easily establish in our tanks.

I showed that Bolbitus have ectomycorrhizae about 6 years ago.
