A few minutes ago I posted a response to Biolante's post about font sizes that came up when I clicked on "What's New". My response was the third or fourth.

Immediately after I sent my post the topic disappeared from "What's New." I later found it, with my response, in "Off Topic and Chat".

Shouldn't all new posts and responses show up in "What's New"?

    Hi Bill,

I 'think' that the forum that Bio posted in does not fall into this collection. It is one of the member's only forum (off topic/chat iirc).

I am most likely incorrect though :)

    Hi, Gerry,

Thanks! I'm sure that you are correct, but Bio's post appeared on the "What's New" retrieval along with 2 or 3 responses. After I posted, the thread then moved to the "chat" section.

Maybe this new thread, now in "What's New", will also move elsewhere?

I hope you have a very enjoyable Thanksgiving!

Once you respond to the post, you have "read" it and it is therefore no longer new to you. I believe this is how the system works.

Oh! That makes sense! Thanks for turning my brain back on.
