Wow.. Great never seen this style before. Yes i use rotala calculator but i select EI daily. However when i select it for tropica, its shows a hell lot to dose.

But im following george farmer's way:
Low plant load: 2ml daily
Medium: 4ml daily
High: 6ml daily

Per 100 liter [emoji115]

My dosage is designed for high light and pressurized CO2.

I still think that it might be easier for you to use the CSM+B in a solution, along with Flourish Iron. In RotalaButterfly, just select "A solution" instead of "Dry dosing" and it will tell you how much to add to your desired container size of RO or distilled water, given the dose you choose.

Have ordered iron gluconate which is flourish iron ingredient. Mine too is co2 and high light.

Fe gluconate came moist and clay like. Please help. Is it still usable?

Never saw it like that before. To me, it is highly suspect. Whenever I have bought it, it is tan in color and is a powder, like flour.

we do have a new Fert calculator at Ukaps which will take care of you trace mix all in one go
upload_2020-12-7_15-45-31.png

does all the solubility limits as well and you can go from ppms to grams or grams to ppm, lots of other new features also. We could also add your CSM+B trace salt also so its added for new release. The above pic the target for Fe is at 0.6ppm weekly

IFC Aquarium Fertilizer Calculator - if you you care to try it.

Has a DIY trace solution section also with many selectable salts with serial dilutions, with ppm to grams or grams to ppms. With selectable compare also

IFC Aquarium Fertilizer Calculator - if you do try it, best to just use 'Litres' as we tried to add 'US Gallons as a after thought, it proved to be quite difficult with the multiple tank Wizard we have introduced. So the Gallons feature is a little lame ATM so we may scrap that feature in next release.

Roy,

Do you have any concerns about consistency? Coming from the chemical industry, whenever powders were involved, we had to go through all sorts of various ways to mix to ensure consistency due to minute differences in particle size and density. Then, after mixing, there was always the concern of handling (and shipping) causing striations. We always preferred the homogenization supplied by liquids, when possible. I never liked the idea of using mixes, such as CSM-B, for this reason.

Hi Deanna,

Plantex makes the CSM, the boron (B) is added by the seller (aquariumfertilizer.com, nilocg.com, greenleafaquariums.com, etc.) so what is the likelihood that they mix in the boron evenly to insure consistency? I give the bottle of dry mix a few shakes to make sure the lighter ingredients are mixed in but that is about it.
