Hello all.

This is my first post as a newbie. I"m making a CO2 reactor like the one on Rex Grigg's site but i cannot find the necessary PVC parts here in Canada. I was told by several plumbing stores (retail and wholesale) that the regulations are different here, so some of the parts are not available.

Now, i have found all the parts required to make it, but using ABS instead. Is this a problem or can i go ahead with it. Will the ABS release noxious gases or seep chemicals in the water in the long run.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Gilles

ABS should be OK, but HD also carries most PVC online even though you won't find it in the Canadian stores. Plumbing stores also carry PVC, just be prepared to sacrifice your left nut.
