Hello,

Is there an easy way to tell the difference between Glossostigma elatinoides and Hemianthus micranthemoides. Even by looking at pictures in Google image search, I still have a hard time telling them apart. Even Tropica's website doesn't help much.

I think Hemianthus micranthemoides has long leaves and Glossostigma elatinoides round leaves. The store where I bought mine sold it to me as Hemianthus micranthemoides, but I'm pretty sure it's in fact Glossostigma.

Thanks!

Here's two pics I found that looks exactly like what I have (sorry dropped my camera in my tank a couple of weeks ago... not my pictures...)

Sorry, I am not going to know your plant question. For a camera that will take pictures of your plants and can be dropped into the fish tank, there is FinePix Z33WP

Hi,

I think BOTH of the pics are glosso....

Glosso and HC are pretty different.

I will hunt around for some pics, but they should be easy to find. HC and glosso are very commonly kept plants.......

Thanks for the replies everybody. Let me tell you, this stuff really grows fast once it gets nice and rooted up. It's taking over my tank!

Thanks for the link Tug. I think I'll go for it.
