It's really doubtful. In stock solutions most of CSM+B is SO4 based I believe, outside of the Fe EDTA. The EDTA should stay stable if you work from DI H2O for your stock solutions, and you toss in some HCL or excel.

Hi,

Just to add to what Danosophos said, I mix multiple CSM+B mixes for a month at a time each month and before that I was a PMDD kind of evil plant monster. I have never seen a problem when the CSM+B is mixed in distilled or de-ionized water. :)

As PhilosoDan mentioned it would be nice if you could cite a source or ask your friend where he came by the information. :rolleyes:

I can't get excel here, how much HCL should I add if I mix CSM+B for a month in 500ml distilled water? I have a bottle of 15-20% industry grade HCL laying around
