I use CSM+B as my trace mix and I accidentally got a little bit of moisture in the bag somehow. It has been a few months since I have opened the ziploc bag, so the moisture has been in there for all that time. The mix has clumped together pretty firmly, but I can smash it back into a powder with a mortar and pestle without too much trouble.

I don't know much about how chelators work or their limitations. If the mix hasn't turned the color of iron rust does that mean that the iron chelators are still okay? Can I keep adding it to the tank and provide usable iron and trace elements to the plants or should I look into replacing my trace mix? Thanks in advance for any input.

Have a good one,
Jeremy

This happens with my micros (not plantex) too.
The longer I open the zip lock, the more amount of clumping.
So this seems inevitable. So why buy the new bag? :p

Thank you both. That's pretty much what I was thinking. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.
