Crypt melting help

I just got my first pressurized co2 and started injecting into my 55g two weeks ago and I noticed last night my crypts are melting (wendtii, undulatus, crispatula var. Balansae). I know this is normal and they will most likely come back but the problem is I was planning on tearing the tank down this weekend and moving all the plants into my 90g upstairs but I'm worried that the move might be too much change for them right now, should I suspend co2 for now??

CO2 will help! The plants will be ok as long as you have the roots, and the base of the plant. Crypts are very hardy plants, and they will recover I'm sure.

You need to fertilize too!

Everything jj said. Co2 will only help. I have had almost all my crypts melt and they just come back stronger. I would say if they are already melting you may as well move them now as they may melt again when you move them again.

The temp is stable I haven't checked the pH yet but I'm starting to suspect that the addition of co2 cause a pH swing and my crypts freaked, I'm just going to leave the tank be for now and make the move when the crypts bounce back

Hi,

I think you should just move them now and it will simply take longer to regenerate. If the new tank has c02, good ferts, etc then the regrowth wont be much worse.
