The parts I have been waiting for for nearly three months (11 weeks) finally came today in the mail. Aside from replacing my check valve (which started making a horrible clicking noise), I wanted to convert my tube adapters from male to female threads. Specifically, I wanted to delete the female 1/8 female coupler on both my regulators.

So, I'll be removing tube adapter part number: SS-6M0-1-2 and replacing it with a SS-6M0-7-2.

Here are the parts I will be playing with:

I'm also adding this check valve:

Here is how one of my rigs looks with the female 1/8" NPT coupler (notice how tall the tube adapter sits):

So, here is the unit I'll be working on, minus the original check valve, which I removed prior to ordering the new one.

I use teflon tape on all my connections points when using stainless parts.

I love the quality, fit, and finish of Swagelok NPT components:

Just like the SS-6M0-1-2, you use part number SS-6M5-4M as a tubing insert for the assembly to work properly. This is for 4mm/6mm tubing only.
