Haven't found it, just looking for it.

I currently have a coralife digital timer that has been working fine. I want a little more flexibility than the all on/all off day/night cycles it offers and space is tight so I prefer not to go with a series of indiv timers.

Have any of you found a timer/power device that offers the ability to program by socket, battery backup, etc...in an efficient package.

Ice looked at some for reefs and they are overkill. I just want to time individual devices independently of each other.

A little feature overkill is okay, but a lot would be a waste of money.

Thanks,
AB

I've been looking for the same. I've even been thinking about putting some relays in my Catalina and controlling via a 433Mhz RF ISM band signal. I'd leave some override switches on the Catalina case but then there would only be one a/c cord. The transmitter would control each light individually. My Catalina has a ballast per lamp which would make this pretty easy.

Maybe this summer.

I'm a geek in retirement...

It's never clear to me what additional is required with the ACJr. Is there an additonal plug strip that is controlled that is required? It looks like the Jr is just a reduced cost control head rather than a complete solution.

Thanks

I find the information here useful. The price is hard to beat for what you get. I feel like Commander Kirk controlling everything at my PC. Plus I have continuous graphing and recording of temperature and pH, which are very useful in interpreting trends. Like temperature goes up when the lights go on, like pH goes down when the CO2 goes on, like pH goes waaay up when I add buffer, like pH goes up when the lights go on (if my CO2 is off) etc etc. Provides endless amusement.
