That's a nice NEW-old stock- regulator. A little background, the SGT/HPT160 series is the predicessor of the current run SGT/HPT500 series, which is a bit smaller and lighter. These 160s are built to last. They are an all stainless body with stainless diaphrams (316), and are for high purity corrosive/toxic gas applications. Won't rust or corrode over time. That's why I like stainless regulators. The one bad thing about them is that if you remove parts (i.e. gauges, fittings, etc.), the threads can become damaged. This happens as frequently as 1/10. Once the threads are damaged, the regulator is an expensive piece of junk. No way to repair. They were approx $1400 when new according to some sources.

Also, most repair shops do not service/repair/replace stainless units due to their gas service. Parts are available (usually HPT160 parts), but Victor, under their warranty program throws faulty stainless regulators out and replaces defective units with new ones. Victor doesn't want their tech to be exposed to potentially lethal chemcials....lol

Matt, I really want to keep this setup as my personal, but ..

As you saw in my other thread, the big lost on the Airproducts regulators dry my wallet, so I have to build this setup and let it go so will have extra cash to order the stainless steel gauges.

Those airproducts stainless steel regulators are really EXPENSIVE now, the original cost plus the cost to replace the stainless steel gauges...

There is one survivor, from the non-broken left and right gauges.

Those airgas are nice and compact. Never seen them before. I like the size.
That's a shame about the others being damaged. Yeah, stainless gauges aren't cheap!
