co2 membrane reactor

I recently came across an ad for a co2 reactor which uses a membrane for diffusion. Has anyone had any experince with such a device ?

They are lousy,

Very slow rate of CO2 gas exchange.
May as well do the old bell method of diffusion and place a little current under the bell for better exchange.
