Hi all

i have this CAL Co2 checker solution : indicator & reference solution.

i use both solution to pour into the checker.

I noticed that the colour always stay at light green and doesnt turn blue even if i remove it and place it outside the tank.

Is the solution turned bad or the mixture i mixed is incorrect? Based on CAL web site for the checker, it said use pour half of indicator & reference solution into the checker will do.

Any one can advise am i doing the correct way?

Do not mix reference and indicator solutions.

When you pull the DC out of the water it should turn blue fairly quickly, IME. The "reference" solution is for the double CO2 checker and is supposed to stay green. The indicator solution (no mixing nor preparation required) determines CO2 levels and should go blue to green.
