Hey Tom, was wondering your thoughts on using a citric acid bath to combat GSA on leaves, I have a few buce species that were damaged when spot treating with excel, read somewhere that citric acid was easier on the leaves and took care of the algae. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance

No idea, but worth a try I suppose.

I think removing them and growing them emergent is the best way to get rid of issues there.
Then return a week or so later.

Would be very curious to know if this works. I had to leave home quickly for two weeks to deal with a family emergency, and when I came back there was GSA everywhere. I realized that I had forgotten to turn my dosing pumps on - so no dosing for two weeks while my CO2 was going. No other algae though, but a good amount of GSA. I can trim my HC and not really worried about stem plants, but I'd like to know if this is a good way of cleaning up my Anubias.
