Anybody interested in tissue cultured bucephalandra sp. ghost? brownie blue, purple haze? My brother is a professor with a laboratory and we successfully make a huge batch of several popular species that are great at changing colors and with medium to small size, they can easily fit most aquascaping. Let me know if you want a wholesale price, I am looking for wholesale at the moment, I might as well build an online store, but right now, I hope some one could order at least 500+ small clumps, I only sell clumps, they come with 15+ leaves at least, per order!! I hate to sell tiny plant with few leaves. Cheers Updated I really don't care what the current trade names are, but these are chosen ones with metallic blue and red. They are under motleyana sp. and catherinea sp., which they leave size are good for most standard and nano tanks! These are strong grower with big root system, and boosted with multiple sprouts, you can buy this go home dump it in you tank and about a month you can see about 4 changed color leaves. this bucephalandra plant loves fish poop and amano shrimp's massage, frequent water change helps to remove algae but IME, if they grow roots with hair, then dont change water too frequently! let it grow, I even grow it successfully in a super ultra low tech transparent plastic box with no filtration with a few cory and an angel fish, no shrimp, I frequently feed these fishes just enough, the water smell fishy, but all the fish and plant do great, the light is about 4 watts white 6500k led, thats all I add, in high tech tank they grow bigger, this type of method could help you grow smaller leaf. But if you want your buce to be very colorful, you will need high tech tank, ensure your tank has high light high co2 and nutrient supplement, aka ADA soil and dry ferts. Loves |
