I keep reading conflicting information about Cedar Driftwood in aquariums. It doesn’t sound like the best option but its just amazing how it looks in aquariums! I understand that it contains sesquiterpenes (cedrol, cedrene, and thujopsene) thats harmful to aquatic life and even plants plus its a softwood but there has to be a way of removing these oils to make it safe for aquarium use. Any links or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
