They stress they are illustrating design and scaping, less on numbers and analysis,
They did not give much understanding to the Dutch style, they assumed simple basic concepts and lacks understanding, which I think is unfortunate.
Many assume a similar thing with Nature style, which is equally.....unfortunate. Dutch scapes are anything but simple plant groups, there is a great deal more thought put into them.
And there's a great deal more than can be added and expressed using Hardscaping approaches to Dutch scaping.
Translations are bit off, but you can make your way through the text without too much effort.
