Hi all, first post. So i know cat litter has been done before as substrate. I've seen mixed opinions of it. Previously I've only used fluorite or flouromax as well as just basic silica sand. But, Ive been wanting to try something different and stumbled across this classic clay litter. It doesn't have any additives or deodorizers. Ingredients say ground clay only.

Is it worth a shot? Thoughts? Concerns?

I've been wondering the same thing, came across care free kitty brand and it also say 100% clay but I haven't pulled the trigger yet

I have never used cat litter but I'd say it makes up for a good experiment. Make sure its just clay though, anything else could create many problems depending on the next ingredient. Rinse it Really thoroughly as well.
