Hi,
I'd like to re arrange my tank into iwagami where only 1 carpet plant will dominate (perhaps with another medium red behind some of the rocks).
I was thinking about utricularia graminifolia or elatine triandra.
any sugGestions regarding which of the 2 are preferable? or another plant which I did not think about?

I have a 220 liter (55 gallon)' up to 1 watt p. l., EI dosing, CO2 etc.

Regards.

Personally, I like eleocharis belem aka "Japanese Hairgrass." It's low maintenance, short, undemanding, and is a beautiful green. Plus it's easy to grow, fairly rare, and no everyone has it. Once rooted, it holds aquasoil slopes well. I'm growing some emersed in a pyrex pie dish on amazonia aquasoil. It's doing really well by a window. I also have my 60P nearly carpeted with the stuff.
