Black hair algae

    I have what looks like black hair algae on my leaves and stems of my plants.


    Any suggestions for getting rid of this?

    You can spot dose Excel or H2O2 to kill it. It will come back if the root case is not fixed.

    BBA agreed with rajkm is the quickest solution. Go the water change route for bba and it's grueling and long and takes a lot of patience.

    How bad is the situation? Any pictures? When did you start your tank? What's your dosing regime? Co2? Light?
