Been thinking of this sub from the Tractor Store called black diamond blasting sand , I know it has other sizes that are stamp on the bag ,but what they have all the time is 30-60 grit size , Wounder if it comes any bigger. Has any one use this in this forum. I find it to be a little to fine for me but hear others having good plant growth for $7.99 50lb bags any one have pic's of your tanks with this.

I am using Black Diamond in one of my aquariums. I got the 20-40. The 30-60 was much too fine. I absolutely love it. It is super easy to plant in and the color is great. I'll try to get some pictures in a bit.

Not smart enough to post picture's, but I too, use the Black diamond 20/40 grit in 300 litre planted tank.
Have corydora's,shrimp's,and have seen no ill effect's from this substrate over a year now.

I use black diamond 20/40 in my 125g tank. I use it as a cap, about 2 inches over a soil substraight. I really like the contrast it provides with the plants.

Can this be use to dry start low cover plants , And what would be the best way to start this using a 60x18. Do I just keep the sub moist and spray the plant's every day? do I mix dry fret's to spray on or moist the sub with?

I wouldn't use it just by itself for a dry start. You want to use a substrate with some nutrients in it like Aquasoil or mineralized soil, etc...

Will mixing the dry Fert's would add the nutrients in the soil after time ? Maybe add a layer of Laitright on the bottom and mix the dry fert's to wet the gravel then spray every other day . I wouldn't know how much to mix for a tank 60x18 tank with 3 or 4 inch of gravel. I got a foggier I can throw in there in a bow of water and put it on a timer to keep things moist.

Yes, that would probably work okay.

I use it too, but have to remember especially on a glass tank is that it is a blasting sand. and can and will scratch a glass tank easy.
