My first post here.

I've been looking for KH2PO4 on ebay, and have not found it. Instead, I have found K2HPO4 (Potassium Phosphate, Dibasic, 98+% Certified ACS 125g) or a combo of H2KO4P, KH2PO4 (Potassium phosphate monobasic, Reagent, 500g TBaker). I'm not sure if these are equivalent to KH2PO4. Anyone know of sources where this can be found.

Also, is KH2PO4 the best thing? Are there advantages with it compared to phosphoric acid or sodium phosphate?

Re: Best Sources for Phosphate

These sources are fairly similar and the small relative amounts of PO4 added really will not be influenced by the cation salt components(eg K+, Na+ etc).

www.gregwatson.com

Sells it as cheap and fast as the best of them.
No need to ebay.

Nutri-Calc (see my sig) -- takes into account the K from KH2PO4 in computing the K2SO4 needed for K -- it shows the amounts too.

I stuck with KH2PO4 rather than K2HPO4 because the quantities are less and because it seems to be readily available.
