Well, I am wondering where others go online for good pics of Algae to help ID along with information on dealing with the said algae, once ID'd.

I like the pics here: PG: Algae - An Overview - PlantGeek.net

But the descriptions are not helpful, in terms of how it is induced, and what to do to remove it... Looking for something a bit better.

I am particularly interested in reading up on the different kinds of thread and hair algae (with photos)...

Anyone?

In most cases, if you get a good pic most are able to ID and help.
Obviously on line with FW aquarium algae and marine algae, I seem to have more skills at identication, likely having done a lot more taxonomy for my research than about anyone in this hobby.

As well as cures:)

I'll be doing some very in depth algae articles coming up this spring.
Red, brown/diatoms, green, and Cyanobacteria.
One for each month.

So probably more than anyone's ever written for the hobby on each group and I'll have a lot of photo's, but submissions are welcomed, I'll be doing micrographes myself.

www.barrreport.com? ;)

It's just a bit more difficult to find it here. Making searches possible on 3-letter words would be helpful, like BBA, GSA, etc.
