We are getting reports that the calculator is showing the wrong results for Barr's GH Booster..

Does anyone have the correct data for us to confirm that this is correct.

    Barr’s GH Booster:
    K: 0.448736
    S: 0.413614
    Ca: 0.232780
    Mg: 0.03287033333333
    dGH: 0.01419351884982
    tsp: 4300
    sol: 170
    target: dGH

    Thanks

According to aquariumfertilizer.com, Barr's GH booster is 3:3:1 by weight Ca, K, and Mg sulfates.

To raise the GH of 100 L of water by 1.0, it should take 2.498g each of CaSO4 and K2SO4, plus 0.833g of MgSO4. That should get you
    5.8 ppm Ca
    0.8 ppm Mg
    11.2 ppm K
    31.0 ppm SO4

Ok, I have compared the above information with what shown on this thread:

    https://barrreport.com/threads/barr-gh-booster.7327/#post-58236

And they don't match. I have modified the calculator to match what explained in the thread above, so that (as Biollante explained there) if you add 5gr of Barr's GH Booster to 90L water, it should give you this:

    K 6.67
    S 4.5
    Ca 5.56
    Mg 0.76
    dGH 0.37

But if I try what Christophe has suggested above, it gives wrong results... so.... which one is correct? Anyone can help?

Yes I'm confused now too :)

Think we might look at researching it's original name aswell ? I think it was Poor man's SeaChem EQ and renamed to barrs by Greg watson many moons ago.

Who else sells Barrs GH booster? So we can compare..

Good point Jason. Zorfox's calculator doesn't have it, so we can't compare it there as well.

Just revised again this compound today after some inputs from a user, now it should give correct results. Please, whoever feels trying it, let us know!

    Ho,
Let me to resuscitate this thread.
How should I dose GH booster when I am using continuou drip system instead periódical water changes?
I get 50 liters o new water daily and 50 liters of mixed new+old water goes out.
Consequently part of the minerales are going out daily with the water that runs out.
I was trying to use a doser but the amount of the salts needed for a week does not disolve well in 1 liter of water, even in hot water.
    Any sugestión
    Thanks!
