Bamboo in planted tank.

Hi all,

Last night my wife decided to add 3 bamboo sticks in one of our tanks. Is this a good idea? Is the bamboo going to use a lot of nutrients and co2 ? Lol, she says she likes it this way. Here is a pic with her bamboo creation:

LOL, there are some in my house too, in vases with plain water,
no ferts needed. So I think they won't use much nutrients.

Thanks nipat. The bamboo was in vases in my house too but, she decided that was not good enough. I don't mind

Just tap water no ferts.
They have about 2 years, always growing, they was at the tank but goldies eats the new leaves.

Nice goldies.
