I am patiently watching the oil base paint dry in humid conditions.

    I too have been waiting.
There is always a new post with just a wee bit more added.

    I hate buceplant so much...

So one of the places I ordered from now is Buceplant, and I went ahead and gave them a 2nd chance.
Now my order says "we canceled your order as requested"
    I didn't even cancel it....
Contacted there Customer Service.... Ive seen more 1 star ratings for them pop up on some of their plant products.

THE LIGHT IS NOW UP! AND IT LOOKS AMAZING!

But just because I say the light went in, doesn't mean there wasn't problems

It took us LITERALLY 1 hour to get the first hook in, and it bent...
So we finally got the first hook in, second one went in ok.
But here is a picture of what we needed in order to get the first hook in
    [IMG]

And also there wasn't studs perfectly above the tank so its kind of hanging 1ft off one end and is aligned with the other end...
    So there is that..
But there is light in the tank and that's really all I care about... lol

And some of the plants are on their way so I will start taking all of these plants out.

Now I can start taking photos with proper lighting that actually look acceptable... ;)
everybody spam me with more likes lol :p

Some of the plants I ordered are tissue cultures, so wish me MUCH luck... I really don't want to do refunds, returns, etc. :l it gets old after the first time.

Yesterday I received "Rotala 'Gia Lai" from https://www.liquidcreations.net/ And it came in PERFECTLY
Packaging was AS EXPECTED THANK GOD, Plant came in HEALTHY, ordered nine stems, looked like they came straight out of the tank!
10/10 would be my rating if I could leave one. As for customer service, idk about that since I didn't contact them. All the stems that came Had Roots, and were Mother Stems (had shoots coming from the sides of the stems).
It was a amazing order, so because of that I ordered 80$ more worth of plants from them. Job well done LiquidCreations :)

This is a crappy drawing of the triangles I have the plants in.
IRL it looks more organized than the pic edit. I had tape over the tank and the whole works. Everything is perfectly aligned as I had planned (evil laugh).
    So far so good.

Also theres been an algae bloom since I started dosing thrive + from NilocG, not enough plant mass. So until the other half of the tank is shipped out Monday....
Guess pennywort is the next best thing.

    OH
and one of the Asian Stone Catfish, Pierced its head ( dead center to ) on the sharp point of the filter guard. He is now quarantined in the fluval, idk if he will make it.. Hopefully but he is in very bad shape.
So I removed the filter guard, now I'm worried the gobys can slide in the filter intake, any ideas for cover?

    Sponge
In my experience the intake sponge needed a 1-2x weekly squeeze so the flow wasn't reduced, but maybe that won't be as bad with a canister...

Update on this guy, he seems to be acting fairly normal again. But I'm going to QT for a week.

How big are these things that you need screening around your intake?

Well.. He's now taking a dip and turn for the worst. Idk if he will make it honestly. Im still adding bacterial, worked for a bit there.

The other fish I got from https://aquaticarts.com/ are doing great!
    But I have an issue.
One of the fish I got, is NOT a blue neon dwarf goby... Unless its really pale compared to the others.
Thinking maybe he was one of these guys ;)

First couple pics are the mystery goby, the next few are of the pure Blue Neon Dwarf Gobys.
    Enjoy!

well I have faith that 1/20 AR mini will actually make it.
About 10 have completely disappeared now, assume they have melted off, didn't have the roots to live... :(
Really would hate to have to go back to buying more plants.
