Aquatic plants of Eel lake Oregon

    A coastal lake near the sand dunes, rather nice looking area for aquatic plants, even in the middle of winter...........

    Red Ludwigia as well and of course lots of real weeds, Egeria and Myriophyllum.
    Might have been some pond weeds and lilies.

    Very nice delicate plant, does not fair well in aquariums, but I suppose I could try more and see about cooler temps also. Fontenalis was growing wonderful on wood here also.

    The Coastal trail, about a few minutes fom the lake and some shots nearby.

    Not bad for Dec and OR weather.

    Nice isolated and eventually dead pair of islands.

    The mist was intense due to 30ft Waves, some reached 50Ft that day.
    Awesome to behold such surf from a storm that had past not long ago.
