hi all, I’m new here but fairly experienced with planted tanks. My teens have recently started their own nano tanks, both with aquasoil, tanks are working well without complaint. The weird thing happened when one kid used the leftover aquasoil to scape a third tank, to make a level change and place plants she misted the soil. It immediately started to turn to mud. She then filled the tank, total mud-storm! Several complete water changes later it’s still very muddy when anything is touched. She wants to leave it scaped as plants are growing well, I’m wondering if she can cap it with sand or perhaps the new bag of fluorite I have? Or do I need to advise she tear down and restart? Tank still cycling, so early days without livestock. Thanks for helping!
