Aqua Medic 1000 on 120 gal. or Rhinox 5000

The price for AM 1000 is much higher then for Rhinox 5000.Can I make 30ppm CO2 with Rhinox 5000?Filitration is TetraTec EX 1200 on the surface and Hydor Koralia 2-3 inside the aquarium.GH is 5 and KH is 3-4 with RO.Light is 2x150w 8000K HQI 8 inch from surface.I have this difusor at home Editor Choice - Co2 Diffuser for aquarium tank - eBay (item 310121948760 end time Feb-17-09 20:00:00 PST) and he is working very good IMO.It look like Rhinox 5000 and he is very cheap.

I can't answer your question, but thank you for bringing that ebay store to our attention. They have a lot of interesting stuff for sale, and at very good prices, plus extremely low shipping costs.

Just my opinion here but if I were going to use glass diffusers on a tank of that size I'd go with two of a similar size to the Rhinox 5000 and place one on each end of the tank. Of course then you would probably need a manifold on your regulator to send the CO2 to two different diffusers which is going to raise your cost.

Hm,yes store is cheap but I don't like Chinese stuff.It si wery unrealibile.But some times like this difuser it is not bad at all.I'm in the proces of making four aquariums,two 120 gal and two 240 gal(220cmx70cmx60(h)cm and and 120cmx70cmx55(h)cm ) .I think I will go on two AM 1000 for 240gal and one on 120gal to be shure I have enough CO2 in aquarium.Maby I will try to build them.Is Cyanoacrylate(super glue) good for gluing for plastic like pipes for water and canalisation?

Not sure what lighting you will use but I would use two reactors on the 240 for sure.....

What will you keep in all these tanks?????

Tom, would you recommend 2x diffusor for a 180g ?

I am currently running a 180g with 1 diffusor and those tiny bubbles are spread all over the tank with Koralia 4

thank you very much,that was my plane yesterday but today I came up with better one(I think ).I will have two DIY reactors and two two inch difusors under two Koralia 2-3 on my two 240gal.Lightning will be 4x150w8000k from watergrass.net.In all aquariums I will keep plants,I relly love plants.Maybe IAPLC 2009-2010.
