I just set up a new tank. I have an old Anubias plant that I put in a temp tank. The bulb is floating right now. It has several old leaves on it with a lot of roots. I have several fry that like to hide in the roots.
I was going to put it back in the new tank, but I want to cut the leaves off and let the bulb float with all the roots still intact so the fry can hang out under it. If I cut off the old leaves will it still produce new leaves?

Snap off, not cut, Anubias leave/stem at rhizome. New leaves will be produced from rhizome. I’ve never floated them, only tied to wood and rock.
