Another rock question...

So after me getting a rock that was not safe for my tank I desided to go to the near by lake for a nice walk with my dog and I came across 4 rocks that seem to be safe for my planted tank. I wanted to know how do I go about cleaning them, I scrubbed them with some hot water and boiled them for couple of hours is it enough or do I need to do something else with them?

I also not sure what they are I tried to identify them but I am not sure if I am correct with what I came up with. I am attaching a picture of them and if anyone can tell me what they are or if you think they not safe for my planted tank it will be greatly appreciated.

#1 This looks like a slate rock to me.... correct me if Im wrong

#2 not sure on this one but it a nice solid rock

#3 this almost looks like a granite but I'm not sure could it be diorite?

#4 this is a nice one too and very solid and heavy but Im concerned about the pores in it

With all you did, your rocks are plenty clean!

#'s 2, 3 & 4 look safe to me, but #1 would need to have some acid (hydrochloric/muriatic) dropped on it to be sure, in my opinion. If it fizzes, bad news -- just by the look, I think it will fizz. And, since you would be obtaining acid anyway, you might as well drop a little on all 4 rocks.

Thanks for the reply, I will do the test on all of them. And I'm glad i asked because i thought that #4 looked questionable not #1
