Another drop checker/Co2 question

Hi,

If the DC turns almost yellow in 4 hrs during an 8 hrs co2 cycle, isn't it better to shut off the co2 instead of running it for another 4 hrs ?

Yes, turn it off.

Then on the next day, cut your bubble rate by 1/2 or 2/3 and see how long it takes for it to turn lime green or a bit yellowish. Some folks run their CO2 for 10 to 12 hours vs 8 hours.
