Fred,

Sweet....Many new angel parents will eat the first few batches and others the eggs may not all be sterilized.. they get better, but as soon as the fry become free swimming, it will be all over I am afraid.

I have taken the leaf from a plant after the fish transferred them to it and also have used airline tubing to suck out the fry to hatch/raise separately. easy to do with brine shrimp..

It's fun to watch them guard the young...wait until they hatch.. the parents will go insane keeping them together LOL

If that's not exciting enough for you, get a 2nd mated pair...

I just found out now that's what I have. My gold angels decided to to lay their eggs on the glass and on a crypt balansae. They seemed to have terrorized all the other fish including all other angelfish to the other side of the tank. Just when I was going to do a water change too.

How about an update, nice video btw.

I woke up at 3 am and caught my bristlenose pleco chowing on the eggs, the angels couldn't do anything about it. So I got nothing. Will have to remove the angels to their own tank to breed. Still was fun to see, and it gave me a little confidence that I can have strong thriving fish with plants and CO2 in the same tank.
