Algae or ornamental moss?

    Please ID the green tufts that grow in between my Buce. The one in front is dark green with light green tips, and the one behind is dense, uniformly green. Are they algae or ornamental moss contaminants from the Buce plants I bought.

    I've been dosing 2x Excel in my tank daily, and surprised they thrive. They pop up here and there, easily pulled out, not aggressively spreading, but keep returning to the same places. What are they?

    Definitely moss, back looks like Fissidens fontanus
