can someone please ID this type of algae so I know what I’m trying to deal with

It could be stag horn, but the pictures are not clear enough to really make any accurate determination.

Looks like it should be called "zombie apocalypse"

But seriously, knowing what the particular algae is usually doesn't help that much.

Once you get a better balance, and grow healthier plants, it will help defeat all algae, no matter what you call it.
