Aeration & algae

    Are there any anti-algae effects from aeration or does algae thrive as well in aerated water? It's sort of an image in my head of algae always being in stagnant water and wondered if there was anything to it? I started thinking about it because I am starting to experiment with Tom's idea of using pressurized air in non CO2 tank.
