I finally rented a PAR meter from Aquatouch today. I tested my 34 gallon 20" cube tank that is lit with two Marineland Planted Tank LED lights and have posted that data.

I also tested my empty (not for long) ADA Mini-M with Aquasky LED light.

The fixture is about 3" above where the water line will be. Directly under the fixture and about 3" from the bottom of the Mini-M tank, the PAR reading is 95.*

At the front of the tank (about 3" from center of fixture), the PAR reading is 80.

It looks like this fixture should provide fairly high light.*

PAR should be measured across the entire sediment area.

It's nice to also have a distance (at various cm's or inches) vs PAR in the center of the tank.

Sorry for the lack of data. The readings that were provided at 3" off center are an average of many readings taken. The lowest readings in the extreme corners are 70 PAR and the highest reading in the center was 90 PAR. Again, these readings are at the front and back glass, about 3" from the center of the fixture on an ADA Mini-M.

Finally, I have measured ADA Aquasky 361, Aquasky 451, and Aquasky 601 with PAR meter. So if someone's interested, you can look at my website, where there are the data with pictures: http://prirodni-akvarium.cz/index.php?id=mereni.

PS: It's in Czech language, so please, use Google translate. Hopefully, I get it translated into English soon.

Good data, it appears that as the fixtures get larger, the umol's become more even. This is true with T5 and PC lighting also.

The 60cm 601 looks pretty good.

the 602 would be interesting also.

Very nice. Love the way you test. Didn't see the AquaSky measurements though.

    Nice work.
