    Hi Everyone,

This may be a dumb question, but I will ask it anyway. I have a few bags of ADA Amazonia laying around. I am thinking of doing a nano Walstad tank. I think Tom mentioned using ADA soil in this type of tank in the above sticky. I just want to check. I understand it will throw out the NH3 and have to cycle. But would there be anything wrong in using this type of substrate?

It should work great after it cycles.

Should work the same as soil, because, it is soil.

Let us know how it works for you, I am considering doing something similar.
