Moss is just starting to grow in. Very low light, I have a 27W PC bulb 18 inches above the tank. Anubias, ferns and moss. Rocks were free scraps from a garden center.

Nice Tank!

Hi,

That is a nice tank.:)

I think you will find that is a bit too much light.

Perhaps consider some floating plants.

The light is actually way above the tank, and the bulb is about a year old lol. It's one of the lowest light tanks I have.

My CRS and CBS seem to have mixed. I separated them after I noticed these calico looking shrimp

Just realized that I posted my 30C in the wrong thread.
I would still like to hear your thoughts, though. The idea that CRS and CBS won't mix is incorrect?

Cbs! Crs! Ccs?

Hi,

Still a nice tank. :D

Caridina cf. cantonenis, Crystal Black Shrimp were selectively bred to produce the Crystal Red Shrimp, the gene for the black stripe is dominant. you end up with some browns, I think some are referring to those as calicoes, so I guess those would be CCS.

Certainly, they will mix and breed.
