I decided to get rid of the 120 Gal with built in overflow, never liked the over flow weir box in the tank.

So, might as well get exactly what I want. I like my filter and my lighting, stand will go, and I'll replace with a nicer ADA knock off like my 60p. I opted for 18" depth.

Mostly mossy wood branches and about 25% emergent growth in the rear. the 30" front to back width will be very nice indeed. 1/2" beveled glass, no holes in the tank etc.

This is basically an ADA tank.
Stand is ADA style.

I'll use a CPR overflow and send the return and in flow via the same type of side mounted holes common on ADA stands. I'll likely do a needle wheel type injection to the suction for the return.

Ordered the tank and stand today.

Similar to Leemar, they take too long through to get starfire made.
Ran 1000$ or so for the tank, then 570$ for the stand.

Anyone in the Northern Ca area wanna 120 gal with over flow + nice solid oak stand??

Tom,

Sounds like a sweet setup already....keep us posted..

Substrate? ADA as well?

I think you will be able to do a lot more with the extra depth front to back. I am excited for you if you are not :)

Well, I have to sell the 120 gal rimless that's here.

I'm not decided yet, but I was thinking of using the white sand and doing a mossy theme.
But...ADA and stem plants........
