I need help with a 3 co2 connections on a DSR regulator build. The regulator is VWR Scientific model 55850-632. I planning to have 3 separate burkert 6011 solenoids with 3 Ideal needle valves to have each tank independently control. As for bubble counter, I will be using DSR Swagelok Tube Fitting.

I would assumed I will need a straight tube to connect from the regulator to a T, then another straight tube with another T, and then another straight tube off the 2nd T. At the end of each T, I will connect a solenoid and a needle vavle. I would love to use all Swagelok as parts but have no idea what parts to use.

Since the regulator is brass, I would like to stay with brass parts if possible.

I am not too familiar with all the little parts. I just know enough to get by. With this new build, it is little beyond my scope. Can someone point me in the right direction as what parts I will need to make this happen?

Below is a brass manifold for 2 needle valves. Can you use this parts list to make a 3 solenoid/3 needle valve manifold? Below are all the different parts that you will need except for the solenoids and Swagelok tubing connections to build one. There just aren't enough of them listed. Let me know if you can't. Later today I will have time to list them for you.

Will you be using 4mm x 6mm tubing or 1/8" x 1/4" tubing?

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

If you want to make a manifold similar to GLA's 1/8" NPTdual manifold using Swagelok parts and with needle valves like the Ideal "xx-1-12" series that have 1/8" NPT female threads like Ideal's 52-1-12, here is what you need. The Swagelok brass fittings for the manifold costs $26.98.

GLA's 1/8" NPTdual manifold: http://www.greenleafaquariums.com/co2-manifolds-splitters/co2-dual-manifold.html Price: $69.99

Thanks Left C... I was trying to stay away from the use of a manifold.

This is what I am trying to do... Not sure if this will work though. Where "????" are the unknown parts that I need help on.

This is the order that I made this list. The first line is the bottom of your diagram from the Regulator to the Burkert 6011

From left to right ... The next two are from the B-2-BT Tee's to the B-2C2-1/3 check valve and the rest of the parts.

From the far right ... This last one is from the Burkert 6011 to the B-2C2-1/3 check valve and the rest of the parts.

Please be sure to double check my work. I only worked with the ????? parts like you mentioned.

You will need 6 of the B-2-HN: Brass Pipe Fitting, Hex Nipple, 1/8 in. Male NPT: http://swagelok.com/search/find_pro...-HN&item=1ae2f19e-f6c2-4c05-aeda-f918ddde8050 Price: $2.57

There are 6 places where NO FITTING IS REQUIRED.

Thanks Left C! This is perfect. With using the B-2-HN hex nipple, will this give enough spacing between solenoids.

I've never used the B-2-HN and I can't tell you how long it will be when the various components are screwed on securely.

The B-2-HN hex nipple is 1.01" long. You can view the various drawings to Adobe files near the bottom of the page for drawings of their adapters. Swagelok makes longer hex nipples if you think that you might need one. They also have 1 1/2", 2", and 3" brass 1/8" NPT hex nipples. They also have a close nipple too. http://swagelok.com/search/find_pro...s=Y&item=1ae2f19e-f6c2-4c05-aeda-f918ddde8050

Here is a link to Swagelok's pipe fittings: http://swagelok.com/downloads/webcatalogs/EN/MS-01-147.pdf

I hope this helps you, n00dl3. Your drawing is a very nice piece of work!! It made my job easy. :)
