Beautiful Nic! Love it! That damn Pantanal is giving always trouble to anyone..,. but it effectively can be an excellent "indicator" plant which reacts first of anything else to bad environmental changes.

I keep pantanals in 3 tanks.. and all have diferents in grow.

The problem is not the size , but why it stucks..

In the 180 lt leaves get big , and sometimes it stuck or make small leaves, u can see hte leave on the second photo.

I the 100lt make small leaves and its not so healthy.

I get one stucked and put it in a glass wiht ada amazonia, result is amazing.

It made a new stem , and it biger that the others.

You can compare them it this photo.

But in a 36 tank, there is only one stem, it grow healty and stable, it never stuck.

Very interesting Nic, why do you think Pantanal grows badly in the 100l?

Beautiful tank- great choice of plants and a strong testament that you don’t always need to go high-tech

    Nice tank Nic!

Glosso may need more light... Have you tried Montecarlo? Much easier IME.

Nic, sorry to ask you this again, but I am curious to know how much you are dosing now for traces, how much and how often a week. Also, do you use root tabs? I like your AR!
